our pre-school

We are proud to be the first and only outdoors pre-school situated in North Bristol.  Our core hours are 9:30am to 2:30pm Mondays to Thursdays term time only.  We are excited to announce that we will also be offering wraparound care from November with a breakfast and after school club starting at 8am and finishing at 5:30pm.  Our day starts at the entrance to Stoke Park Estate adjacent to Lockleaze Youth and Playspace.  We make the short walk/ run over to the meadows to arrive at our woodland base for the day.

We have a choice of locations to set up camp within the Estate, each offering us a diverse range of opportunities for play and exploration.  Wherever we go we provide a cosy rest area for any tired legs, a toilet tent and a hand washing station.  Activities will range from den building, creative play, foraging and cooking to hunting for fairies, woodwork, creating instruments, mud painting, counting and mark making.  The list goes on.

As a parent you'll get regular updates and photos on your child's day via a secure media platform called tapestry. The children enjoy a wholesome snack, drinks and lunch in the forest before we head back to base to recap and reflect on our learning from the day.  Our indoor base is classroom at Stoke Park Primary School, BS7 9TG.
