We are very excited to announce that our gorgeous playgroup is on sale for next term: June 3rd 2024 - July 8th (6 weeks).  We are based at the beautiful Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation.  This is an idyllic new wildlife sanctuary and woodland area in Westbury-on-Trym.  You can find it on Trym Rd, Bristol BS9 3ET.

We will be running two sessions on a Monday, from 9:15am-10:30am and 10:45am to 12pm

​

We accept termly bookings only. Tickets for additional children/ siblings can be purchased at a cheaper rate.  Our sessions involve a range of exciting forest activities for your children to get involved with. We always cook around the fire with treats ranging from marshmallows to pasta and homemade bread.  Children will have the opportunity to:

​

• Play in the mud kitchen

• Do natural painting

• Play with our small world toys and in the natural construction area

• Go bug hunting

• Explore the woodland trail

• Enjoy reading in a sheltered reading area.

 

We also run an adult led activity in addition to these each week which can be anything from woodwork, bird watching, Gruffalo hunting and so much more.  Hot drinks are available for adults and children throughout the morning.  At the end of the session parents, carers and children all get together for singing and sometimes parachute games.  We hope you can join us in Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation soon for some woodland fun.  Add yourself onto the mailing list by popping us an email with your child's name and your contact details.

We encourage everybody who visits us at WWPF to do so responsibly. Using alternative transport to driving is encouraged. There is a car park but that is reserved for Staff Volunteers, Disabled Users, River of life on Sundays & WOT-POTS.

If you have a disability and require parking you will need to book parking in advance please email playgroup@littlefoxesforest.co.uk.

There is parking in the Village behind CO-OP and W-O-T Primary care centre please use these facilities if you need to drive. Please be courteous to the residents along Trym Road and Pinewood close and use the car parks in the Village.
