Attending Little Foxes playgroup has improved Scarlett's imaginative play, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, self-belief , communication and problem-solving skills. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Our Spring term Monday Stay and Play group is now sold out. Watch this space for details of our next term starting back after the Easter Holidays. Our sessions take place at:
10:45am to 12pm
The term dates for those signed up for this term are: 2nd March, 9th March, 16th March, 23rd March and 30th March. We accept termly bookings only and the cost is £42.50 for the 5 week term for one family/ childminder/ nanny with up to 3 children. Our sessions involve a range of exciting forest activities for your children to get involved with. We always cook around the fire with treats range from marshmallows to pasta and homemade bread. Children will have the opportunity to:
Play in the mud kitchen
Do natural painting
Play with our small world toys and in the natural construction area
Go bug hunting
Relax in a hammock
Enjoy reading in a sheltered reading area.
We also run an adult led activity in addition to these each week which can be anything from woodwork, bird watching, Gruffalo hunting and so much more. Hot drinks are available for adults and children throughout the morning. At the end of the session parents, carers and children all get together for singing and sometimes parachute games. We hope you can join us in Stoke Park Estate soon for some woodland fun. Add yourself onto the waiting list by popping us an email with your child's name and your contact details.
Monday playgroup costs £42.50 per 5 week term and can be booked on a termly basis.
what to wear
This is a fairly open area of forest so if it's raining full wet weather gear and wellies is advised. In the summer it can also be useful to come in full length trousers to avoid midgy bites and scratches.
There's treats for parents as well as children at our playgroup. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee is available. Children always enjoy a snack cooked on the fire.
